The Hoodoo Drugstore is the ‘concoction’ of
songwriter Mike Sweeney. Root Doctor is the first
offering from his loose band of confederates. This
CD has 12 ‘slices’ of American folklure. Mike says
“I try to write about folks who get up in the morning
and make it through the day doing whatever they do,
just like the music -SURVIVING”. His cast includes
musical wizard, Sam Klingsmith plays dobro,
accordian, banjo, mandolin & guitar. Bob Peckman
delivers incredible authentic vocals to the majority of
the songs. Bonedog artists Bobby Wayne and
Eugene Morgan also contribute vocal talent. This CD
is a must for any fan of the Americana genre of music!
